Jensen Planning + Design was engaged by the Town of Walkerville to provide statutory planning advice for the significant redevelopment of its Civic and Community Centre located on the corner of Walkerville Terrace and Stephens Terrace at Gilberton.

The project involved the restoration and refurbishment of the Town Hall, a Local Heritage Place, together with the demolition of other buildings and redevelopment to accommodate an improved Civic Centre. The facilities include an upgraded public library, Council administration offices, improved customer service facilities and car parking.

Jensen Planning + Design successfully led the team through a complex and challenging development assessment process, working collaboratively with the client, design team, Development Assessment Commission and relevant agencies.
