The Lochiel Park ‘Green Village’ development was announced by the Premier of South Australia to be a model environmentally sustainable housing development. Lochiel Park comprises of approximately 100 dwellings surrounded by parklands and wetlands adjacent to the River Torrens in the north-eastern Adelaide suburb of Campbelltown.

Jensen PLUS prepared the Master Plan and detailed designs of Lochiel Park, which was awarded the 2008 PIA National Award for Excellence in Urban Design: Plans & Ideas.

The project incorporated the widest range of ESD initiatives - in homes and in infrastructure - of any housing project internationally at the time. Jensen PLUS was also responsible for the preparation of the extensive Housing Design Guidelines and involved in the selection of the three builders for the project.

Now complete, Lochiel Park is testament to what can be achieved in the creation of sustainable urban development through high quality, considered design.
