Opened in October 2021, the Village Green boasts new BBQ and picnic shelters, lawns for events and relaxation, nature play spaces, retained trees and lush new garden beds, footpath upgrades including along the main street, feature lighting, and a brand new and architecturally-bold toilet block (by Phillips Pilkington Architects) servicing the Green and adjacent Two Wells Library.

Jensen PLUS worked closely with Adelaide Plains Council throughout the master plan, development approval and detailed design stages, all of which was improved with the input from a Community Reference Group who helped test the ideas along the way.

The Village Green was constructed by a local builder with many opportunities for local supplier inputs. It has been embraced by the community and is a highly successful example of effective collaboration and delivery of a well-established and supported vision.
