Wagga Wagga Special Activation Precinct comprises 4506ha of land in the north of Wagga Wagga, New South Wales. The Precinct is being established as an economic and employment hub to accommodate regionally significant industries and businesses.

The Regional Enterprise Sub Precinct is the principal industry area for the SAP, accommodating advanced manufacturing, agribusinesses, rail and road transport terminals, warehouses, industrial recycling, and a diverse array of local industries.

As lead consultant, the rationale for the Structure Plan was developed collaboratively by Jensen PLUS, using the outputs of numerous technical investigations.

Stakeholder and community engagement also informed key decisions. During a week-long Enquiry by Design workshop held in Wagga Wagga and led by Jensen PLUS, the final concept was aligned with the precinct vision and tested to incorporate best practice and innovation.

Sub-precincts and overlays were defined to guide future development and infrastructure, including the optimum clustering of businesses to promote synergies and circular economy benefits, the efficient provision of infrastructure, and the management of planning potential noise, odour and air quality impacts on precinct users and neighbours.
